“ We had an amazing lunch at Singh Street in Bruntsfield. I can’t recommend it enough! We started with 2 Amala chais and couldn’t believe the size of the cups!! Such good value for money and just what you need on a winter’s day. We had a selection of poppadoms and chutneys which were just out of this world! The chutneys were so fresh and full of flavour. We shared tandoori paneer and haji bhaji as small plate starters. They were beautifully presented and delicious. Our mains were black daal and ruby chicken. We felt the portions were generous and the flavours were spot on. We also had cheese stuffed naan and Bombay potatoes to accompany our mains and can highly recommend them as sides. The chai soaked tiramisu was really creamy (maybe too much for us) but the flavour was excellent. The veggie choices are fantastic. The manager, Nadia, was so friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome to stay and enjoy the view over the Bruntsfield links. It’s a great place to spend the afternoon people watching. Nadia was positive about people just popping in for a chai in the afternoons to enjoy the view so we might do that when we are out for a walk in the area. We’ll definitely return for brunch too. Singh Street is a now a favourite of ours. ”
“ I love everything about this place. Nadia is the loveliest server. She is so friendly and really understands good service. Singh Street is the best thing to happen to this location. The decor and atmosphere are great, the food is amazing, and the service exemplary. In the photos you can see my cranberry and orange juice, colourful poppadoms with chutneys, and the chai tiramisu. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. ”
“ Two of us came here on a cold, damp, Thursday evening and left feeling enlightened, fulfilled, and happy. Indian wouldn’t usually be our go to but we thought we’d give it a try. The food was good but what stood out was the service. Served by a lovely, smiley lady while seated in a cool, vibey restaurant with a good soundtrack is what made the evening 5/5. Recommend the garlic cheese naan and the mutton. I wouldn’t say the poppadoms are worth 8 though however you do get lots of chutneys to go with all of your curries. Singh Street keep up the good work ”

“ First time visiting Singh Street! Everything was incredible. The food was outstanding, so full of flavour and delicious, the spicy margarita cocktail was one of the best I’ve ever had. We had the butter paneer, ruby chicken, Punjabi chips and 2 servings of the butter, chilli and coriander naan. Wish we had more room for dessert. But we’ll 100% be back! Service was so lovely, welcoming and professional from Nadia. 10/10, would recommend! ”
“ My husband and I were looking for somewhere for brunch and Singh Street didn't disappoint. We both ordered bacon and egg naans and they came with a delicious home made slightly spicy yoghurt based dip. They were absolutely delicious and the waitress, Nadia couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I also ordered a spicy mango margarita and it was one of the nicest cocktails I've ever had - my husband had to drag me out, or I'd have been drinking them all afternoon - and I rarely touch alcohol! We'd both highly recommend and we'll definitely be going back. ”
